SEMINAR, WORKSHOP AND DEMO INFORMATION
SEMINARS: Group painting with me at my direction. Usually of three day duration. Four or more days are needed for portraits.
TIME: 9:00 or 9:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m. or until finished. If your group has a certain time it prefers to start or stop this can be adjusted. I do not mind staying as long as necessary to help you finish.
NUMBER of PEOPLE: I prefer only 10 so that each one will get the most from the seminar. I can take up to 12 maximum but an additional charge for the extra people will be $30.00 per person per day. (There are exceptions to this, such as if you have only 11 or 12 people in a club and all want to take, for example)
FEE: $250.00 per day plus 45 cents per mile or air fare if I need to fly or should it be cheaper. I will be happy to stay with anyone having room for me. My only request is that there will not be cats there or heavy smokers. I am very allergic to cats and smoke and you are paying me to give you a seminar in china painting not in wheezing, sneezing and swollen eyes. Otherwise I will stay at a motel at the club’s expense.
At seminars, I will provide the students with the paints already mixed, and the medium and brush cleaner to be used at no extra charge to them, so that all pieces will have the same colours when finished and so that nothing is used that I'm either allergic to or that is incompatible with the medium I use and cause runs. Information will be sent before class time with a list of other equipment needed. I
furnish a colour study but give out printed instructions at the end of the seminar, not on the first day. I correct the class piece only. Anything else painted during the seminar is your work alone.
WORKSHOPS OR ALL DAY PAINT ALONGS: Same fee as seminars. Can be any number of people but I cannot individually correct these pieces. I will demonstrate and make corrective suggestions to the students as they paint along on their own. I do not furnish any paint, oil or studies for these.
DEMONSTRATIONS: I am the only one painting. the fee is $125.00 plus 45 cents per mile. I prefer that these be scheduled in conjunction with a seminar but can work around this. If in conjunction with a seminar there is No mileage fee. Demonstrations can also have any number of people in attendance.

Tiny roses Working with a banding wheel - One day
Chelsea Birds Old World Scenes
Victorian Christmas ornaments - so called for the shapes not design and usually involves incising, structure, underlay, lusters and other textures
From time to time I change my subjects. If I do not have listed what you would like or if you would like to work with one of my studies, please contact me concerning it.
IMPORTANT--SEMINARS, ETC. MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE SO AS TO ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME TO PREPARE FOR THE SUBJECT AND ALLOW FOR ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS. THIS WILL ALSO ALLOW TIME FOR ANY SUPPLIES THAT MIGHT BE NEEDED TO BE ORDERED. IN ADDITION THIS WILL ALLOW THE GROUP REQUESTING THE SEMINAR A BETTER SELECTION OF THE TIME THEY MIGHT WISH IT TO BE HELD.
